This painting in my opinion captures some of his best artistic and technical abilities showing a busy market with classic buildings and sky with a mountain range in the background..the effect of strong sunlight is fully apparent in a beautiful composition of activity at the market.

with no signs of damage,
the lovely frame has a blemish shown in last photo close up and can be repaired easily with wood filler and touch up.
