Shigaraki Ware Guinomi Sake Cup by Furutani Michio:
$160.00
This legendary potter literally wrote the book on modern anagama firing, famously saying that if you don’t like the result, tear it down and start again. This is a classic Furutani cup with incredible clay and an ethereal color palette that pursues the nuances of Ko-Shigaraki, rather than being too busy or fussy chasing the maximum amount of firing effects.
Lightly used but in excellent condition, measures 5.5cm tall by 6cm wide and comes with its original box and paper.
