Shop Made Slot Car Dyno Test Bench for 1/32 and 1/24 With RPM and MPH Display.The photos shows my latest iteration of this model.
The test bench provides voltage, current and rpm and MPH readings.The unit is powered by three lithium batteries providing up to 12.6 volts to the Buck/Boost SK120 power supply which will provide a steady DC voltage 0-36 Volts and Maximum of 6 Amps or 120 Watts.The unit is completely portable.USB C Charge port.Slot Car not included.The buck/boost converter allows you to adjust the voltage and current for test purposes. The voltage can go up to 35 volts and 120 watts.The reflective tape on the roller provides the source for the rpm reading and should be kept clean. I will provide a strip of the tape if it needs replacing.Please note this is shop made 3-d printed. It is not perfect. Buyer can tweak different parts. I have no problems helping.The roller is also 3d printed and runs on ball bearings.The electronics for the RPM readings is now running off of a 9 volt battery with a separate switch. This minimizes noise interference from the motors and ensures more accurate readings.Options.This listing is for the base unit with just a fuse in the back.
