• Recommend a factory reset before use. These may carry a prior Shure Designer device password and/or a Dante Domain Manager (DDM) enrollment. Both are clearable by the new owner — there is no cloud-account lock that survives a reset (Shure gear is managed on-prem via Shure Designer; there is no Crestron-XiO-style server-side claim):
  • Hardware factory reset: the recessed reset button is behind the grille (use a paper clip). Hold 4–8 sec for a network/IP reset, or more than 8 sec for a full factory reset — this clears the device password, all configuration, and network/IP settings back to defaults.
  • Dante domain (only if it still shows domain-locked): in the free Dante Controller, isolate the device on the network, power-cycle it, wait ~2 min, then Device menu → Clear Domain Credentials (Audinate\'s “Lonely included: the microphone + its mounting bracket/hardware as pictured. No PoE injector, no network cables, no power supply (the MXA920 is PoE Class 0 powered — a PoE+ switch or injector is required and is not included).
