The book is particularly attractive for its fine decorative binding, with green leather spine and corners, raised bands, gilt spine lettering, and beautifully marbled paper-covered boards. The binding gives the volume a distinctive antiquarian presentation.
Condition shows age-related wear, including rubbing, scuffing and discoloration to the leather, particularly along the spine and extremities. The marbled boards show some surface wear, and there is a small handwritten notation on the front endpaper. Interior pages appear generally clean and well preserved from the photographs.
