Waverley Anecdotes I & II (1833) were published in London by James Cochrane & John McCrone.
Ivanhoe I–II (1860) and Peveril of the Peak I–III (1860) were published in Edinburgh by Adam & Charles Black. The books remain in attractive matching bindings with bright interiors and generally clean pages. Bindings are sound overall with expected rubbing, edge wear, and light shelf wear consistent with age. One volume has a loose gathering that remains present, and one rear blank endpaper shows evidence of a removed bookplate. Light foxing is present in places, with one volume showing somewhat heavier foxing than the others, but overall the paper is unusually clean for books of this period.
