The cover is in good condition.
There is wear at the head and foot of the spine, and browning of the spine.
The book is 6 1/2” x 9 3/4” tall, 50 pages, plus a 1 page limitation page, and a 3 page catalog of Derrydale books.
The frontispiece is a hand colored picture of a cougar.
The book contains triling stories of panther and wolf hunting in the mountains of the Delaware River Valley, which occurred in about 1815.
Eugene Virginius Connett III’s started The Derrydale Press in 1927.
He got the name Derrydale from a bottle of whiskey and a map of Ireland.
