The laptop is in fair overall physical condition considering its age and use. The item has expected cosmetic wear including scratches, scuffs, scrapes, marks and/or other general wear. The screen has marks. The display lid has cracks in the plastic. The right rear corner of the laptop and palmrest are dented. The right-side hinge is scratched and clicks when the screen is opened. The badges on the palmrest are faded and peeling. The trackpad texture is worn. The keyboard is a European layout. Review all photos carefully to understand the condition of the item being sold. The photographs show the actual item you will receive.
The laptop has the following issue(s) during inspection and testing:
- The USB ports on the right side of the laptop are loose, and the middle of the three ports is physically damaged.
The laptop is in otherwise fully functional condition with no other known issues. The Core i3-370M processor has fresh high-quality Honeywell PTM7950 thermal interface material applied for improved thermal performance. An original Sony battery is included with the laptop but does not charge or hold a charge. A fresh installation of Sony-branded Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1 has been pre-installed along with original VAIO applications, critical system drivers and Windows updates. A physical Windows COA or activation key is present on the machine but is illegible.
