Summary: I usually will stay away from "store brands" even at a significant discount for fear of getting an inferior product, but I've found Speedway products to be comparable in quality. Sometimes Speedway is the only source for products or "combo" kits. This wiper motor is no different. It is almost identical to the name brand (Newport) it replaced and appears to be of similar quality. I did have the same issue other reviewers noted about the aluminum drive gear not fitting in the wiper assembly, but a little bit of filing made quick work of it. I'm very impressed with the motor, and saved over $100 without sacrificing quality. If you are agonizing whether or not to take a chance on "store brands", trust me, Spreedway does not disappoint!
