Clean copper lines well with emery cloth, fine sand paper, or Scotch-Brite pad. Apply flux lightly on the outside of the lines, avoid getting flux inside of the lines. Apply heat, Let lines cool 2-3 minutes
wipe off joints once cool, do not use water to cool down lines.
