Original Post-Impressionist Oil Painting by MUCH sought after Austrian artist Stefanie von Trauttweiller (1892-1976). Much sought-after artist has a history of both high gallery and sale (Christies London) sales. Stunning oil titled depicts elegant European interior with vase and flowers. Beautifully executed painting shows wonderful detail and technical mastery. A magnificent multi-colored bouquet in an ornate gilt frame. Highly skilled artist uses wonderful both vibrant and earth color palate. Piece is distinctly signed on bottom right. Painting\'s medium is oil on canvas. About Artist:Stefanie (née Dolinar) von Trauttweiller (Austrian, 1892-1976) was a painter primarily known for her paintings of native flowers from Austria, floral, fruit & object/interior still lifes, interiors, landscapes, genre scenes as well as interior & landscape views with animals. Stefanie Dolinar was born on April 24, 1892 in Mödling, Austria (near Vienna, some sources state 1888 which is incorrect for this artist), daughter of the Director of the Southern Railway Rail Rolling Mill, Dr. Stephan Dolinar (mother unknown). She studied at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien (Academy of Fine Arts) in Vienna, Austria and also with painter, Prof. Adalbert Franz Seligmann (Austrian, 1862-1945), landscape painter & illustrator, Prof. Alexander Rothaug (Austrian, 1870-1946) and the well-known listed floral painter, Prof. Camilla Göbl-Wahl (Austrian, 1871-1965).
