This stunning Native American Acoma N.M. Polychrome Jar is a beautiful piece of handmade pottery signed by artist I. Chino. With a tribal affiliation to the Navajo, this jar embodies the rich culture and artistry of Native American craftsmanship. Iona Chino has been active since 1982 and is the granddaughter of the famous matriarch potter, Marie Z. Chino. This gorgeous handmade piece has been sitting in my bookshelf and deeply enjoyed for years. The lines and colors are just beautiful and the design is stunning! The pieces measures approximately 6 3/4” tall and approximately 8” wide with the opening at the top measuring 3.5”. The pottery has a large presence and one where your eyes just linger on it.
