This is a beautiful cable. It comes from a client of mine who use this as a bar in their basement. For many years, it had a beautiful glass pitcher on it. And she would keep alcohol on both sides of it and then she had serving glasses in front. It’s higher than a traditional table by about 5 inches. As this is 35 inches tall. But it’s unique and size. This is not a standard size table. you’ll find that most tables are even numbers. Other than the height. The two measurements are 70.5 & 29.25. Because it was us as a bar. There are a few blemishes to the top. You can see at least two or three glass stained. There’s also some scuffs and some rubs. However, this is a rustic table so they fit in really well. There’s actually nothing wrong with them. They give it character if anything. This table is also unique. Is that a features an iron guard around the entire frame of the wood. It’s almost as if it’s a butcher block top. This could be used also as an office desk. It could be used as an Accent table in a big home. But one thing that you need to know about this table is that it is extremely heavy. It’s one of the heaviest tables I’ve personally dealt with. I was able to put it together on my own , but I do not recommend that. I’m a professional mover and can handle this. This cable is no joke. I’m guessing it weighs about 400 pounds. The bars that connect the legs are removable. The top removes. And you can be left with just the frame. It’s also short a few bolts. This has been around for a long time and was moved numerous time prior to us moving it. The very first time we moved it we noticed it was short three or four bolts. However, it’s so sturdy it doesn’t require them. But if you wanted to , purchase more bolts to it you could. Also at some point somebody had come and drilled some holes in the iron so that regular traditional wood screws could be attached as well to give it more stability. Again, it really doesn’t need any. It’s a tank as it is. It will need to be assembled at your home. I can certainly guide you to the assembly. I will talk about delivery shortly. there is a brand on the bottom of the leg and it says SBC three. I’m not sure what that stands for. My gut feeling is this table is from England. A lot of the furniture I’m selling for this. Client did come from England. And this definitely doesn’t look like it’s an American made Prada. if you plan to use this for a work, there are holes on the bottom of the legs and you could drill it into the floor as well. So this is very versatile. This does come from a smoke-free home.Now for the big elephant in the room shipping. No traditional method of shipping will be an option for something this heavy. There are truly three options to get this from my location to your home. The first is local pick up. The table is located in Brookfield Connecticut. We can certainly help load it into a vehicle of your choosing, and also explain how to put it together for you. The second option is using third-party shipping company such as. Uship.com or shiply. if you go online, you should be able to get a quote for shipping within about an hour give or take. I know that says to contact your seller for a free quote. I don’t know why they say that because realistically, we don’t know where you’re timeframe or your location. I get emails all the time with people saying can you give me a free quote and that’s all they say it doesn’t even say where they’re from. The frustration mounts every time somebody emails me and says give me a free quote and doesn’t even tell me where they’re from. it’s very easy to get these quotes as I previously mentioned. The last option. I do want you to contact me for and that is using our service. But I have to start that our service only applies if you’re not in a rush for this table. As a mover, I travel all over the country. There is a very good chance. I’ll be coming somewhere to a neighborhood near you. I provide a couple options for my clients. The first is meeting me on my route. If you’re able to meet me on my route directly, I do not charge anything. I typically will meet you at a truckstop or rest area and help you transferred into your car or vehicle. The second option I offer is direct delivery. I do charge for this to compensate for my time and my fuel off my route. Please keep in mind that I do drive a 53 foot tractor trailer and it’s not always conducive to every neighborhood. You’d have to let me know if you feel like that would be an issue before asking me for a quote.
