Supermicro CSE-846 / Silicon Mechanics-branded 4U 24-bay storage server in used condition.

Includes all 24 front 3.5-inch hot-swap drive caddies. The caddies are empty—no hard drives are included.No complete rack rail kit is included. Any inner rail pieces visible in the photographs will remain attached.

Testing performed:
• One complete Memtest86+ pass completed with 0 errors
• Both processors and all 24 threads detected
• 30-minute stress-ng CPU test completed successfully using all 24 threads
• CPU temperatures approximately 33–41°C after testing
• Both onboard Ethernet ports established link and were checked individually
• Both SAS2308 controllers detected by Linux
• Both power supplies tested
• Fans operating
• IPMI verified
• No relevant hardware, ECC, MCE, or controller errors observed in the Linux system log during testing

Important storage disclosure:
The SAS controllers were detected successfully, but the drive backplane and individual drive bays were not functionally tested with hard drives. No drives or operating system are included.

Cosmetic condition:
The chassis has scratches, scuffs, old inventory labels, handwritten drive-slot labels, and label residue consistent with prior commercial/institutional use. Please examine all photographs for the exact cosmetic condition. No major structural damage was observed.
