They are subject to curling and sticking together under conditions of excess humidity, heat, and light.We realize there are still Dennison \"peelable\" hinges available to purchase. The most recently made of these hinges are at least 40 years old and they were never as good as using a quality stamp mount even though the prices that they have recently fetched exceed the price of stamp mounts in many cases.
