Large quantity of vintageTDK D90 cassette tapes, being sold in selectable bulk lots.
These areType I / Normal Bias / Ferric 90-minute cassette tapes, approximately 45 minutes per side.
The tapes are previously recorded and are being sold primarily asused reusable recording media. They can be erased and recorded over.
Most of the existing recordings are blues-related, including old radio programs, blues music, and broadcasts labeled with stations/programs such asKPFA, KXJZ, KZAP, Mick Martin, Friday Blues, Saturday Blues, Sunday Night Blues, Christmas Blues, and similar material. It seems to begin in the early 80s, and runs pretty consistently to the early to mid 90s. There is a few tapes made in the late 90s and early 2000s. Exact recorded content is not guaranteed and has not been fully cataloged.
All tapes include their original plastic cases and handwritten labels. Condition varies due to age and prior use, but all seemed in pretty great shape considering.
I have played and tested a small number of these tapes, and the ones I tried sounded fine. However, due to the age of the tapes and the size of the collection, they have not all been tested, and I cannot guarantee that every cassette will play perfectly. They are being sold as used vintage recording media, as-is.
