Red Wheat Penny Rolls with a Silver Barber Dime Ender
A Classic Coin Roll Featuring Historic U.S. Silver
Opening a roll of old coins is always an exciting experience. Every roll offers the opportunity to discover pieces of American history.
Each roll in this listing is wrapped in a red penny roll filled with Lincoln Wheat cents and sealed with a genuine Silver Barber Dime showing on one end. The Barber dime adds a beautiful touch of classic U.S. silver while the Wheat pennies inside offer the fun of searching through historic coins.
Whether you\'re building your collection, searching for interesting dates and mint marks, or giving a unique gift to a fellow collector, these rolls are a great way to enjoy the hobby.
Each “Buy It Now” purchase includes:
✔ One red penny roll filled with Lincoln Wheat Cents (1909–1958)
✔ One genuine Silver Barber Dime (1892–1916) visible on the end of the roll
Lincoln Wheat cents were minted from 1909 through 1958 and remain one of the most popular coins among collectors. Many coin enthusiasts enjoy searching through rolls of Wheat pennies hoping to discover interesting dates, mint marks, or coins from key historical periods.
The roll is highlighted by the Silver Barber Dime, first introduced in 1892 to replace the Seated Liberty design. The series was designed by Charles E. Barber, Chief Engraver of the United States Mint from 1880 to 1918. While Barber dimes are sometimes overlooked compared to other classic coins, assembling a complete set in higher grades can be quite challenging. The series also includes one of the most famous rarities in American coinage — the 1894-S Barber Dime, with only 24 coins ever produced.
Part of the excitement comes from discovering what else might be inside the roll. Rolls may contain:
- Early date Wheat cents
- Various mint marks
- Circulated and uncirculated coins
- Steel cents
- Possible Indian Head cents
- And other collectible surprises
