IMPORTANT TPS NOTE
Some later-model motorcycles were originally equipped with a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on the factory carburetor. This replacement carburetor does not use a TPS.
For applicable models, the motorcycle's TPS electrical connector can be left unplugged and securely protected from dirt and moisture. This carburetor operates mechanically and does not require the TPS connection.
INSTALLATION NOTES
This is a replacement carburetor and is not an OEM component. Please compare the listed dimensions with your original carburetor before ordering.
Depending on the year and model, minor installation adjustments may be necessary. Some intake or airbox boots can be tight due to small differences in outside diameter. Gently warming the rubber boot can make installation easier.
Throttle cable routing and adjustment should also be checked during installation.
JETTING NOTE
The installed #410 main and #40 pilot are intended as a baseline only. Carburetor jetting varies depending on exhaust system, air filter and airbox modifications, engine modifications, fuel/oil mixture, temperature, humidity, and elevation.
Always verify jetting for your individual engine before extended or high-RPM operation.
