Offered here is a vintage Tamiya Mitsubishi Pajero Metaltop Wide, Item 49490, built around the classic CC-01 shaft-driven 4WD chassis.
This is a new old stock, open-box kit. It has never been assembled, painted or run.
The box was opened for inspection, and the contents were carefully laid out and compared with the original Tamiya #49490 instruction manual. Kit components remain unused, and many parts are still sealed in their original factory bags.

The kit has not been built. The body is unpainted and unmodified, sprues appear untouched, and the hardware/components remain unused.
Condition Notes
The original retail box is structurally good but shows normal age and storage wear, including light staining, scuffs, small marks and edge/corner wear.
The original Pajero instruction manual is present and correct for Item #49490 and shows some age-related spotting, discoloration and edge wear.
The original TEU-101BK ESC instruction manual is also included.
The body, chrome parts, chassis components, motor, ESC and other kit components remain unused.
Please examine all photographs carefully, as they show the exact contents and condition of the kit being offered.
