Disc 1 - The Godfather I & II in chronological order including an extra 45 minutes that was originally deleted from the theatrical productions, as well as extended scenes never before seen on television, the way Coppola intended his masterpiece to be viewed for an Immersive viewing experience of 7 hours and 3 minutes. The Godfather Epic on Blu-ray is 1920p x 1080p Full HD Widescreen Format, Aspect Ration 16:9, Audio Dolby Digital 5.1.
Disc 2 - Bonus Disc. This disc contains:
- Mario Puzo's writing of the book "The Godfather".
- Puzo & Coppola's writing of the screen play's "The Godfather" and "The Godfather II".
- Casting the movie with Screen Shots of Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro.
- Also, the 'push-back' and the 'deal' made with Organized Crime figure Joe Columbo, Boss of the Columbo Crime Family, to remove the terms "Mafia" and "La Cosa Nostra" from the film. In return for this, Joe Columbo made sure there were no Union problems while making the movie.
This version was not put out by Paramount Pictures. It was originally put out by HBO and then made available to a distributer. That is the only way to get this version of The Godfather Epic 1901 - 1959.
Please note: This is NOT the Godfather Trilogy Set. It does not contain The Godfather III.
