A stunningly good condition copy, all for a good cause. Pretty nice box, although it has some white shelf wear, as pictured. Includes the infamous dial a pirate wheel, four 5.25” floppies in sleeves, shortcut key, instruction book, newspaper newsletter, disk exchange ad, registration card, and strategy guide offer. Disks are not tested, as floppy drives of any kind are not something I have. Happy to take more pictures on request.

My mom is 82, and meets a bunch of friends around that age for coffee every morning. One of these friends is Suzi. Suzi, along with many of the others in the group, is trying to get junk out of her house so it can be sold on short notice. While she wants to live there as long as possible, when you\'re over 80 it\'s not that unusual to unexpectedly have tolive the rest of your life in a skilled nursing facility. So she\'s planning ahead by clearing things out.

One thing she was trying to get rid of was her kids\' computer stuff. They\'re lawyers in their 40s who are completely uninterested in retro things. So she asked around the coffee group for anyone who wanted to take it, just to get it out of the house. The actual hardware was gone, but she had a bunch of old games. My mom knows I\'m a gamer, so asked if I wanted them. I said sure, but send me some pictures of what she\'s giving away, so I can make room for it. So I get an email with … some pictures. Of 25 in-box games in good condition.
Once I picked my jaw off the floor, I sent back a message explaining that they were valuable, and not something to just give away. She didn\'t care. She just wanted them out of the house, and with someone who would give them a good home. If I sold anything for money, I should give it to an animal shelter.

The stupid part of all this is that I was strictly a Mac gamer as a kid. I had a few sierra games, but I had no real attachment to anything she was giving me. But no one else she knew wanted these, so I took them. I figure a fair way to handle this is to sell them, so they get a good home, and I will give all the proceeds to the Cuyahoga County APL.

Her kids were very responsible back in the 90s, and kept every slip of paper included, but the boxes do have some shelf wear. Fortunately the Monkey Island games were not too abused. Buyer will pay shipping.
