Just a heads up to whoever buys these. i want to let everyone know that they do in fact fit the ipod video 5th generation thick. however you will have to use a hair dryer and apply heat to the plastic in order for it to bend enough to shut. i hope whoever reads this doesn\'t forcefully try to close it without it. i don\'t recommend it. you\'ll damage the case. once shut, it is very protected and safe. i of course, tried to shut it without a hair dryer and thus have a little bit of damage. i\'m sure that if i knew this trick from the start i wouldn\'t have damaged it. either way, this is still way better than other alternatives—way less expensive.
