Tikka T1X Rear Bag Rider
This is a rear bag rider for the Tikka T1X factory polymer stock. If you\'ve ever tried to shoot a T1X with a rear bag, you know that the polymer stock is slippery and has the wrong geometry to stay put on the bag.
This rear bag rider provides a flat and stable surface so that the rear bag stays in place and doesn\'t scoot forward each time you break your hold.
The profile of this rear bag rider work well with any bag type, but it is ideal for use with a rabbit ear bag. It also does not get in the way when shooting offhand.Designed for Versatility
Through real-world testing, this rear bag rider fits a wide array of rear bags, as well as some mechanical rests.
- Made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer
- Measures 4\" (102mm) long. The bottom portion that rests in/on the bag measures 9/16\" (15mm) wide.
- Keystone shape helps it fit most rear rabbit ear bags, as well as keeping it locked into the bag.
- Bottom portion has a textured finish to keep the rifle from shifting in or on the bag.
- Stock channel is rubber lined to prevent any damage to the finish of your stock.
- Does not extend below or beyond the toe of the stock, which makes it legal in many types of competitions.
- Attaches with the supplied screw that is the same diameter and thread pitch as the original rear sling stud.
Installation is as simple as removing the factory rear sling swivel stud, placing the bag rider on the bottom of the butt stock, and using the supplied screw to attach in the original swivel stud hole. Do not overtighten!
