Todd is a self-taught Pop artist who is known for his bright and colorful doodle-like paintings. This piece features an African American woman titled the “Disco Queen” in a mod dress and round glasses and a lively purple throughout. Though it is a stylized stick figure, the woman’s features and the use of line and color elevate this piece to fine contemporary Pop art.
