• Binding & Spine:The original forest-green cloth binding is square and firm. Thegold-stamped (gilt) Kudu headon the spine and the illustration on the front board areexceptionally bright and crisp, with minimal fading.
• Exterior Wear:The spine shows light rubbing and minor fraying at the head and tail. The back board shows characteristic\"mottling\" and surface bubblingto the cloth, which is a common trait for 1907 Longmans editions. Corners show light rubbing but remain relatively sharp.
