I can talk for hours and hours about peppercorns. A ton to be said for the true culinary artist. I have some advice. This grinder is calibrated perfectly for medium coarseness. Extreme fine grinding can alter the taste. Medium coarseness is the best. Also, apply the pepper before and after cooking. Eating the raw peppercorn creates a flavor explosion inside the mouth.
