Giles issued three (3) different balls during his tenure which are easily discernable based on the stampings - 1) 1952-57, 2) 1958-62, & 3) 1963-69. This ball is the 1952-57 given the very fine, clear stampings; the similar 63-69 design has a more blurred application approach.Book Value for a NM7 for the 1952-1957 is $250 (please see pix from THE History of the Base Ball). This ball is an absolute GEM!!!!
