This book features Academy Award winning film director (and father of Liza) Vincente Minnelli as a senior. He has a great posed head shot in the book.
This book is in fair to good condition. The top corner and top of the spine of the soft cardboard cover is missing. The page block is mostly separated from the binding at the front of the book; the bottom staple is holding the block in. The back of the page block is still attached. The covers are heavily tattered on the edges. There is a moisture stain on the front cover, about 3” down along the spine. Some of the gold embossing on the covers is stained. The front page of the block shows tears from the staples at the top and middle. Several of the pages at the front of the block have a small dogear on the top corner. Overall, though, other than some faint age-toning around the edges, the page block is in very good shape for a 100+ year old copy with a soft cover. There are writings and signatures throughout the book, including on the front cover.
