Up for sale is a rare piece of Americana: an original, unused roll of Northern Tissue from the early-to-mid 1940s. Manufactured by the Northern Paper Mills in Green Bay, Wisconsin, this is a fantastic survivor from the era when Northern was first marketing its "splinter-free" and "Snowy-Soft" technology.
Features:
Iconic Graphics: Features the classic blue block lettering and the signature green evergreen tree-line border. Original paper cover
Mascot: Includes the early version of "Fluffy" the Northern Cub and the "Snowy-Soft... made with Fluff" slogan.
Specifications: Original 650-sheet roll, 4.5" x 4.5" square sheets.
Era: Pre-1953 (Produced before the Marathon Corporation acquisition).
Condition:
The wrapper is in excellent vintage condition with vibrant colors. There is some minor shelf wear/crinkling at the top edges consistent with age, but no major tears or stains. Please see photos for exact condition.
