Up for sale is a magnificent 1940\'s-1950s classical recitalprogram featuring the dual autographs of Metropolitan Opera dramatic sopranoROSE BAMPTON and her legendary accompaniment pianist BROOKS SMITH.
Both artists have signed beautifully in permanent ink on thefront cover.
Rose Bampton was an international vocal star who anchoredthe Met Opera for 18 seasons. Brooks Smith was a giant of classical keyboardaccompaniment, celebrated globally as the exclusive, long-time touring partnerof violin virtuoso Jascha Heifetz.
Condition Details:
- Signatures: Outstanding clarity, rendered in bold vintage ink directly on the front display page. Display beautifully with no flaws affecting the outcome.
- Booklet: Minor tear (approximately 0.25\") on the bottom fold/spine. No staining. The
program has been folded in two at some point. Clean binding with minimal spine creasing. Minor
natural paper toning on edges consistent with age.
