Impressive vintage commemorative sculpture created byEdward DeWittfor the United States Bicentennial. “The Double Eagle” features two highly detailed American bald eagles with outstretched wings perched upon a naturalistic rocky base.

The original plaque on the reverse reads:

This substantial sculpture has a rich bronzed finish over a heavy cast composite construction and features exceptional feather, wing and base detailing. It is a striking example of 1976 American Bicentennial commemorative art.
