Up for sale is an incredibly rare, 100% authentic vintage 1978 California Jam II music festival production crew t-shirt. This is a legitimate crew-issued piece featuring a large, bold orange block text hit reading "STAGE" on the back, making it a highly sought-after grail for vintage rock collectors rather than standard guest souvenir merchandise. The historic festival took place on March 18, 1978, at the Ontario Motor Speedway and featured legendary performances by Aerosmith, Heart, Ted Nugent, Santana, and Foreigner. Made in the U.S.A. from 100% cotton, this single-stitch tee features its original, classic 1970s Fruit of the Loom "fuzzy fruit" tag marked as a vintage Size Large (42-44), though it will fit closer to a modern medium. The front showcases the official California Jam 2 sun circle logo along with full event-coordinator credits, and it includes a unique vintage novelty red pin reading "SEX INSTRUCTOR - First Lesson Free" that was placed on the upper right chest by the original crew member. The shirt is in excellent vintage condition with minor natural aging consistent with a 45+ year-old worn artifact, and it features completely intact, vibrant graphics with no major rips or tears. It does have some slight discoloration, please take a close look at the photos. I believe the discoloration is from where the shirt was folded, and it’s just dust and dirt that has collected over time. Thanks again !!
