Description
Beautiful vintage Fenton Peach Crest melon vase featuring the collectible Charleton Rose decoration. Made from white milk glass with a rich pink interior and dramatic clear glass ruffled crest, the vase is hand painted with pink roses, blue/purple flowers and green foliage. Gold gilt accents around the shoulder and ruffled rim complete the ornate design.
Fenton produced the glass blank, which was subsequently hand decorated for the Charleton line by Abels, Wasserberg & Co. of New York. A gorgeous example of mid-century American art glass with a romantic Victorian-inspired appearance.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks observed. There is a small brown brushstroke near the lower portion of the vase that appears consistent with a stray mark from the hand-decoration process; shown closely in photos. Minor age-related wear may be present to the hand-painted/gold decoration. Please review all photos for condition and detail.
