This is a beautiful real mink fur coat that is ideal for a reconstruction project, repurposing, or altering into a fashionable fur vest!
The fur on the front and back body sections is in good, stable condition. Fur looks nice and full, except 2 small torns under collar on the back(collar area - I talk about this below).
Collar Area:There are 2 small torn places/tears (around1\" each) under the collar along the neckline on the back.
Sleeves:There are several larger torn/tears areas/damaged spots on the mink fur along the sleeves. ( in 2-4 areas on both sleeves)
Recommendation: Since the sleeves have the most damage, this coat is an excellent candidate to be cut down into a gorgeous fur vest (or used for fur scraps/crafting).
Although the sleeve have significant tears, there are still big sections of good mink fur between the damaged areas. These can be salvaged and used for smaller craft projects, such as fur scrunchies, collars, trim, cuffs, pockets...
