Botanical Name: Valeriana officinalis
This listing is for Valerian plants of varying quantities. They are grown in a 2 inch by 2 inch by 2 inch cell. These plants are grown from seed harvested from plants grown at our nursery.
The plant you will receive will be between these ranges of size as there will be slight differences from the photos in the listing as no two plants are the same. They will be guaranteed vibrant and healthy and ready for transplanting. We DO NOT ship with the pot as the pot allows for too much soil moisture evaporation. It will be securely adhered to the package wall for the safest shipping method possible.
This plant is native to Europe and Asia and has become naturalized in the northern United States and Canada. It can be found growing wildly in damp grasslands and along roadsides. Valerian is a sweetly scented pink or white flowering perennial, grown ornamentally or for herbal or medicinal purposes. They grow rapidly into clumps by spreading rhizomes and seeds.
We grow everything organically with a beneficial insect program. We do not use chemical fertilizers, pesticides or fungicides. We use a preventive program for pests with the use of Ladybugs, Green Lacewings, Praying Mantis, and Predatory Mites to battle soft bodied bugs and Nematodes in the soil to combat any soil dwelling pests. Our dedication to safe and harmless plants is seen throughout all our products. We are all stewards to Planet Earth, and we must protect it.
Soil pH level guide: Acid to Neutral to Alkaline. Acidic soil has a pH of 1 to 6.5. Neutral soil has a pH of 6.6 to 7.3. Alkaline soil has a pH of 7.4 to 14. If you do not know your garden\'s pH level, please go out and buy a cheap soil pH testing kit which can be found in any hardware store, typically under $5.00.

Plants are alive and can be affected in all sorts of ways while in transit. The shipping process will undoubtedly be the most stressful situation that the plant will go through. We do everything possible to make sure the quality of the plant does not suffer during shipment.
We guarantee that the plant you receive will be as described in the above listing. Every plant is a little bit different. There will be variations in size and shape, but always within the parameters that are established in the body of this listing. The quality will always be represented to the fullest.
Once the plant is received, it needs immediate care. If you are questioning the quality of the plant, immediately take photos and contact us. If the plant looks good and healthy, proceed to make sure the roots receive air and the soil watered. Do not subject the plant to direct sunlight, instead allow a 12- to 24-hour adjustment period.Transplant shock is a real thing. Be aware of it and take steps to alleviate it.It takes most plants 1 to 2 weeks\' time to fully transition to their new environment.

We have a 2-DAYCONTACT PERIODfrom the time you receive your order to the time you contact us. Photos of the plant as it arrived, along with the packaging materials are requested and requires for verification purposes. After that time period, we have no control over the viability of care that is being given to the plant.

We guarantee against any defect or shipping errors that may occur during the shipping process, except for shipment to incorrect addresses - as the buyer is responsible for making sure the correct address is given at checkout.
We stand by our guarantee of receiving a live, healthy plant. If you believe you did not receive a live, healthy plant, PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY. We request photos of the plant and packaging materials for verification purposes and in case a claim needs to be filed with USPS.
