Up for sale is a stunning, completely mechanical 1920s vintage portable suitcase gramophone featuring a highly collectible, heavy-duty Heineman \"Flyer\" spring motor manufactured in the USA. This antique record player operates entirely without electricity via its original hand crank and features a classic black textured faux-leather exterior case, sleek chrome hardware, an integrated speed regulator dial, and a beautiful diamond-pattern geometric acoustic speaker grille. The internal mechanical wind-up spring motor, center spindle, and governor assembly are fully functional and the record player works and spins beautifully. However, please note there is one issue: the original chrome soundbox/reproducer does not connect properly due to a break inside the tone arm fitting. To resolve this, a functioning beige replacement soundbox is included in the lot; when this replacement head is attached to the arm, the gramophone plays audio exactly as it should. Both the original chrome soundbox and the working beige replacement soundbox are included in this listing, making this an incredible, easily complete-able project piece or display item for any antique phonograph enthusiast!
