An exceptional piece of mid-century toy history, this is an early production open-wheel \"Boattail\" Indy-style race car. This specific variant was born from the historic licensing partnership between Toronto’s Viceroy Manufacturing and Ohio\'s Sun Rubber Company. Unlike later 1950s vinyl models, this earlier piece is cast from heavy, authentic vulcanized rubber and features a molded driver crisp in detail, painted in a beautiful contrasting cream body with bold blue and red racing streaks. The underside features a pristine, exceptionally clear maker mark stamp reading: \"VICEROY / SUNRUCO / MADE IN CANADA\". **Condition Report for Collectors:**
