Wonderful vintage nautical wood art plaque featuring the U.S.S. Constitution, also known as “Old Ironsides,” sailing through rough seas under full sail.
The image is executed in a detailed pyrography / wood-burning style directly onto the wood, with an attractive decorative burned border surrounding the scene.

Harry A. Ungar and Dibble Studio produced a variety of decorative pyrography pieces during the early-to-mid 20th century, and similar examples are generally associated with the 1930s–1940s era.
Measures approximately 15\" tall x 10–11\" wide. Please refer to the measurement photographs for exact dimensions.
The plaque remains in good vintage condition with age-related wear including light surface marks, discoloration, small spots, edge wear and other signs consistent with its age. There is also some faint writing/marking visible on the reverse. No attempt has been made to clean or restore the piece.
