Rare complete vintage Richmond Virginians professional baseball uniform, dating to the 1950s Parker Field era.Includes the matching jersey, pants, undershirt and original stirrup socks. The jersey features the Richmond Virginians script across the chest, #2, original McGregor tagging, and a period Dr Pepper advertising patch on the back.The Richmond Virginians played in the International League at Parker Field in Richmond from 1954–1964. They became a New York Yankees affiliate in 1956, making Richmond an important stop for players moving through the Yankees farm system.The combination of the complete uniform, period McGregor construction, advertising patch and original accessories makes this a particularly unusual survivor.
