Rare vintage Nelson Rockefeller “ROCKY!” political campaign paper dress dating to the 1960s.
This unusual disposable campaign dress features a mustard yellow and blue design with large “ROCKY!” lettering on one side and repeated portrait images of Nelson Rockefeller on the other. Paper campaign dresses were a memorable part of 1960s political and pop-culture fashion and are much harder to find today than standard campaign buttons, stickers and signs.
The dress is being sold exactly as found. It is in fragile, distressed vintage condition with tears, holes, creasing, edge loss and deterioration, particularly along the bottom and folded areas. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition.
Because of its age and fragile paper construction, it has NOT been cleaned, repaired, taped or restored.
