• • Translation: On March 3, a second lieutenant pilot from the 3rd Flight Group, 16th Regiment of the 6th Aviation Division of the Chinese Communist Air Force launched an uprising while flying a MiG-15 fighter jet. He arrived safely in Taiwan and received an enthusiastic welcome from all sectors of society. The government rewarded him with 1,000 taels of gold and commissioned him as a first lieutenant in the Republic of China Air Force.
