It is not often I will go out on a limb and state something is vintage, but I feel in this case I feel I am correct in saying this truly is a vintage piece. Please read below the information I have found.
The Conmar zip was only used by the Browning Company during the first-year production run, with this case manufactured precisely between 1964 and June 1965.
The "bell-shape" pull tab stamped with Conmar narrows down the manufacturing window of the Browning case to a strict 18-month period: The 1965 Corporate Cutoff: The Conmar Products Corporation was bought out by the Scovill Manufacturing Company on June 16, 1965.
Following this acquisition, the factory phased out the "Conmar" brand name stamp on its tooling hardware to favor Scovill branding. The "Bell" Pull Tab: The bell-shaped puller layout was a signature design profile used by Conmar primarily on high-grade military field gear and rugged outdoor equipment contracts during the mid-1950s up to 1965. Browning introduced these specific red felt lined soft cases in 1964.
Combined with the 1964–1965 Conmar bell-shaped zipper and narrow-end gold logo, this pocketless red felt interior and 6.25-inch case confirms this is a 1964–1965 Browning "Baby" .25 ACP Factory Pocket Pistol Rug.
