For your consideration is a stunning, authentic pair of vintage 1970s Space Age globe table lamps manufactured by the iconic Nova of California Inc. (Gardena, CALIF). This matching set perfectly captures the sleek, minimalist aesthetic of the \"California Modern\" era, featuring beautiful frosted opal glass spheres sitting on cylindrical polished brass bases.
Both lamps still retain their original Underwriters Laboratories (UL) manufacturing labels on the bottom, proving their pedigree. • 100% original vintage condition, including the original wiring and plugs.
• Functionality: Both lamps are in working order (see photos). Note: As with all vintage lighting, rewiring is always recommended for modern safety standards before daily use.
• Cosmetic Wear: These lamps show honest vintage wear consistent with age. There is visible verdigris (green oxidation) along the upper rim where the metal meets the glass globe, as well as some light pitting, surface scratches, and minor patina on the polished brass cylinders. No cracks or chips to the glass globes. Globe approximately 12” round lamps stands 12” base 7”
