Vintage 1978 Glasmarbles Stained Glass Suncatcher Butterfly Blue Daisy 6\"x4\" For Sale

A vintage Glassmasters oval stained glass suncatcher, dated 1978. Unlike traditional piece-and-solder stained glass, Glassmasters used a patented technique of applying multi-layered glass enamels directly onto a single panel of cathedral glass, kiln-fired to permanently fuse the colors. The design features a vibrant red and yellow butterfly amid stylized blue chicory-like flowers with golden centers and green leaves.

Set in its original hand-soldered framing channel with a delicate hanging chain. The bottom edge carries the fired-on script hallmark “© Glassmasters 1978” — the maker’s signature mark and the production year, fused into the glass. Made in USA.

Measures approximately 6 x 4 inches. Pre-owned vintage condition, nearly 50 years old, with small imperfections consistent with its age. Please review all photos carefully, including the close-up detail shots, as they are part of the description.
