Lovely vintage 1986 G.P. & J. Baker Casamance designer fabric, printed in England for Lauer of Paris. Measures approximately 4 1/2 yards x 55\". It has the hand and appearance of polished cotton, although I cannot verify the exact fiber content. This is unused fabric, but note that there is some yellowing on the selvage. This beautiful fabric would look great with English Country, Chinoiserie, Traditional, Botanical, Grandmillennial, and Maximalist styles. This richly detailed pattern features exotic birds perched among winding blue branches, lush green foliage, and an abundance of colorful flowers. The warm buttercream/ivory ground is accented with shades of rose, burgundy, coral, orange, blue, and teal green. A distinctive English designer textile, this fabric is ideal for traditional interiors and would be lovely for decorative pillows, upholstery accents, window treatments, lampshades, or other creative sewing projects.
