This was a shirt sold at the 1989 art exhibition. Witnesses Against Our Vanishing was a 1989 New York exhibition created during the height of the AIDS crisis, bringing together artists whose work confronted loss, activism, and the epidemic it self. This event was a very pivotal moment in the late 80’s. Probably the rarest shirt i’ve ever had. Only 1500 people attended the event and probably only dozens were sold, this is the only one that is listed anywhere on the internet. Has a little yellowing in the arm pit but not very noticeable. Truly a piece of history.
