Description
Up for sale is avintage (or nearing vintage) Rick\'s Movie Graphics catalog from 1994/95 (as listed on the cover). This catalog along with a few others were kept in a crate that collected quite a bit of dust over the years and played host to a highly unwanted termite infestation that unfortunately managed to cause a bit of damage to them. Luckily, this particular one was spared for the most part, yet still does exhibit a bit of noticeable wear on it; appearing mostly in the form of darkened spotting on the cover, as well as a slight tear on the surface of the rear cover; which is where the original recipient address sticker was located.
This original shipping label was intentionally scraped off and then replaced by a white sticker label for the purpose of this sale. The removal process unintentionally left a minor rip in the rear cover which was reconstructed by the aforementioned use of the white adhesive label on the outside and by using one of the broken pieces which was taped with a piece of clear packing tape on the inside of the rear cover.Other than that immediately visible wear, the catalog also has a few other blemishes, such as visible creases, minor scuff marks and/or bends along the corners of the pages; just the typical wear one might expect from a catalog of this vintage, really. The rear cover has a bit of missing page material located along the top edge more or less around the middle. The front cover also has a few spots also located along the top edge with minor torn or missing page material as well and has a minor scuff mark along the bottom left corner located along the spline. The pages themselves have mostly yellowed from overall age and/or general storage... as is the case with the publications that are primarily made of newsprint.
Either way, I\'m pricing this item to move; for I figure that anyone that\'s into collecting catalogs or is a fan of movie related products (such as posters, lobby cards, etc.) from back in the day and how the prices may have changed over the course of time in this economy might have a particular interest in this catalog; so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts, for my loss is your gain as they say in the trade!
