Offered here are wonderful, highly-detailed vintage, hand-made Mid-Century Modern (MCM) Christmas stockings, likely dating from the 1950s or 1960s.
The pair includes:
- "MOMMY" Stocking: Features a snowman couple wearing winter hats and scarves beneath a festive lamppost, flanked by two small Christmas elves holding up the name banner.
- "DADDY" Stocking: Displays a larger holiday scene with a giant candy cane, two larger elves mixing or carrying a tub, and two smaller elves flanking the base of the name banner.
Material & Craftsmanship
- Body: Crafted from a vibrant red faux-fur plush material (commonly a high-pile acrylic or nylon plush popular during the mid-20th century).
- Cuff: Finished with a thick, fluffy white faux-fur trim at the top.
