RARE, vintage Member Lapel pin for the Ninety-Nines, or 99s, a women's aviation group founded in 1929. The club's birth happened at Curtiss Field on Long Island, New York, and it was officially named two years later for the ninety-nine charter members under President Amelia Earhart. The pin is two very angular nines with a fixed diagonal propeller across them. Coming from personal family estate ~ please see all photos for approximate measurements and condition. Very little wear considering age.
