Historical Provenance:Unlike generic regional pieces, the base of this vase features the distinct, debossed workshop stamp for Aegitna. The Aegitna brand was established in 1936 by the renowned Saltalamacchia family, whose deep roots in Vallauris pottery date back to the early 1920s. The base also features a prominent, hand-painted red \"H P\" monogram, presumably designating the specific master artisan or decorator within the collective who hand-finished this piece.
Condition Details:General: The glaze retains an exceptional, high-gloss brilliance.
Chips: In keeping with authentic, soft-paste mid-century terracotta pottery of this age, there are a few minor chips/glaze flakes along the outer edges and base rim (please review the close-up photos closely).
